The unconvenience and convenience of living in Korea

Today we went back to Seoul. I will update more on the trip to Tokyo in the coming days. It’s been pretty hectic, but more to come.

We rented an apartment in Seoul for 3 weeks, and upon our arrival I got a big surprise. The apt was in a mess. I mean it was so filthy disgusting dirty I had a hard time believing people actually live here. I don’t even want to touch the walls. And yet, this is a pretty nice apt if it would have been clean. Apparently it is customary in Korea to clean when you move in, not when you move out.

Luckily they have this huge E-marts that sells just about anything and are open 24 hours.

But tomorrow we probably get a professional cleaner to do the more dirtier stuff.
